Kaizen accounts are free to create — billing only kicks in when you cross the trial limits. No credit card required.

Sign up at app.kaizenreports.com

→ Open the signup page

You'll be asked to authenticate with one of:

  • Google — most common; just one click
  • GitHub — useful if you want to link OSS issues from the same identity later
  • Okta — for orgs with Okta SSO. Workspace admin needs to whitelist Kaizen first; we'll send you the SAML metadata after a quick verification email
  • Email + password — falls back if you can't use SSO

What happens next

  1. Workspace gets created. Default name comes from your email domain (acme.comacme). You can rename it later.
  2. You're the workspace admin. Invite teammates from Settings → Members. Roles: admin · maintainer · member · viewer.
  3. No projects yet — that's the next step. Click Create project on the empty dashboard and head to Create a project.

Connecting SSO for your whole org

If you signed up with personal credentials but want to enforce Google or Okta for everyone:

  1. Go to Settings → Authentication
  2. Toggle the providers your org allows
  3. Optionally enable enforce SSO — this disables email/password and forces all members through your IdP

Switching to a paid plan

You start on the Hobby tier (free, generous limits for evaluation). Upgrade in Settings → Billing:

  • Team — $24 / user / month — unlocks unlimited workspaces, multi-run history, defect linking, plans, live runs
  • Enterprise — talk to sales for self-hosted, SAML, audit logs, custom DPA

See the full Pricing page for details.

Trouble logging in?

  • OAuth callback fails — usually a third-party cookie blocker. Try a private window
  • Okta says "app not assigned" — your IdP admin needs to assign the Kaizen tile to your user
  • Email never arrived — check spam, or hit the Resend link on the signup screen
